ESG REPORT

Rio2 is committed to the principles of responsible mining and best practices in corporate governance. For this reason, the Company has compiled an ESG Report, which reflects its performance concerning the environment, society, and corporate governance. Rio2’s ESG Report provides a comprehensive review of the Company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance factors related to Rio2’s development activities at its Fenix Gold Project in Chile.

Our company is geared towards developing environmentally responsible mining projects. We seek to operate in harmony with other non-mining enterprises, strengthening proactive Community and Civil Society relationships always within the established regulatory framework."  

WATER MANAGEMENT
Our goal is to have the best water management strategy possible, for which we are committed to establish a serious and responsible policy of water reuse in order to minimize its waste.    
BIODIVERSITY PRESERVATION
Biodiversity maintains environmental balance in the world. In this regard, we will look after its preservation and reduce any impact through appropriate and strategic environmental management measures.  
CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change is real and Rio2 will take preventive action within our environmental management plan, with the purpose of controlling emissions that may increase greenhouse effect.   
WASTE MANAGEMENT
A key factor to control and mitigate environmental impact is to create a great environmental management plan that contemplates waste management focused on domestic, industrial and mining waste, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, gaseous emissions, etc.

Any sustainable development goes together with responsible actions, geared towards the development of our Communities and Civil society. We are positive that the effectiveness of simple dialog and our ideal for authentic and transparent management will allow to generate trust.”
